The view and drive down Military Road to the Spit Bridge is another of those quintessential Sydney experiences, especially with regard to visiting the North Shore. The Spit Bridge Road crosses the narrowest section of Middle Harbour and is a great way to view the suburbs of Balgowlah Heights, Clontarf, Beauty Point, Fairlight, and Manly.
