Mrs Macquarie's Point is the peninsula to the East of Farm Cove, just a little further along Art Gallery Road from the Domain, and adjacent to the Royal Botanic Gardens. Taking pride of place is Mrs Macquarie's chair itself--hand carved by convicts from sandstone in 1810 for Governor Macquarie's wife.
