Website | EmailOpened in March 1994, this multi-functional, two arena complex caters for sporting groups, schools and disabled athletes. There are regular National Championships, training sessions and corporate events. The Betty Cuthbert Grandstand seats 5,000, shaded by an elegant suspended roof, and a further 10,000 can be accommodated on the grassy banks. The paved forecourt features 13 bronze plaques, depicting some of New South Wales' finest sportspeople. "Homebush Innovative", is an active amateur Athletics' Club, supported by Nova Peris-Kneebone, gold medal-winning Hockey player turned sprinter.
