Serving mostly North Indian dishes, though some South Indian dishes can be found on the menu too, this charming restaurant is run by Amar Gujral, one of Sydney's long-serving restaurateurs. The eye-catching mural dominates in this smart restaurant that is popular with locals. There is a carpark at the rear. As long as you order in advance, Amar is happy to cook any Indian dishes. The menu is extensive so there always seems to be something to suit everyone. There is an unusual Bombay-style Fried Fish and also Orria Kabab - thin slices of marinated beef cooked in the tandoor. It is licensed.
