As any serious coffee connoisseur knows, the quest for good coffee is serious and sharing the local knowledge paramount. So here it is, in the heart of Avalon Beach village, amongst an array of cafes, sits Swell Cafe and they have the best coffee in town. A funky, unpretentious space Swell is wedged into a sidewalk shop-front, re-fitted to provide limited, but comfortable seating, a tiny kitchen and a large, pumping espresso machine. The staff, nice but a little unexcited to see you (they know they have the best coffee too), will generally tend to you in good time. The menu is small, high quality and they offer all day breakfast! -Kate White
