He continues to research both fields extensively and is now regarded as a world authority on Wedgwood. Landis is also very interested in works produced by English factories (including Wedgwood and Royal Worcester) which have Australian associations. These include, for example, dinnerware decorated with local flora and fauna. Wherever possible, the stock is accompanied by supporting, documentary evidence, while insurance valuations and a restoration service are available as well.
