OK, so Auburn is a bit of a drive out of the city--under an hour on a good day--but Arzum is open from eight in the morning to 11 at night every day of the week, so there is no excuse for not paying a visit. In the middle of this multicultural melting pot, Arzum is a find--a fully-stocked Turkish grocer--selling everything you would expect: vine leaves, spices, bread, goat's cheese and eggplant--lots of eggplant.
