They have a well-run shop with service and repair facilities, equipment sales, air and nitrox fills, club facilities and training courses. Sydney Dive Academy is particularly useful if you are a tourist looking for some advice on Sydney diving conditions; they run regular escorted local dives and orientations to the glorious sponge gardens and other diving sites just off Maroubra beach. The shop is an active member of Dive Australia and very safety-conscious, with experienced, patient instructors.
