Kikar Rabin, Ibn Gvirol Street
Tel Aviv,
Every Friday afternoon at 3p, there is a small pre-Shabbat gathering at the Yitzhak Rabin Memorial, in memory of Israel’s only Prime Minister to be assassinated. The event is attended by the pro-peace camp and there is group singing, sometimes followed by a speech by a public personality. It is a good opportunity to buy a pro-peace pin, or to pick up the popular "Shalom Chaver" stickers that you see on people's bumpers. Meaning "Peace Friend," these were the words Bill Clinton used at the end of his eulogy to Rabin at the state funeral.
