This is a decidedly spartan hotel, which has been offering rooms with or without bath for budget travelers since the early 1970s. Rates depend upon the floor space and size of the bed. The clientele is mostly students, tourists and short-stay business visitors, who find the Center unpretentious and very hospitable. English is spoken, as are several Asian languages. There is a modest restaurant, bar and snack lounge. During summer the central terrace becomes a beer garden. Small conferences may be held in the two meeting rooms. Inexpensive cafeteria-style meals and limited parking are available to guests.
