French in name but Japanese in nature, Comme des Garçons features toned down avant-garde fashions by Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo. The store is divided by huge white partitions and features high fashion displayed like exhibits. Very contemporary yet elegant and somewhat European in look, CComme des Garçons has been an extremely fashionable label since the mid-80s.
