Website | EmailNot known for its furniture stores, Dundas West nonetheless has one of the best locations in the city. MADE, a retail space for handmade works and small production pieces by Canadian industrial designers, craftsmen, architects, designers and artists, can be found where a Chinese herb shop used to reside, the signage is still up to prove it. Owners Shaun Moore and Julie Nicholson are working to build an extensive resource of modern Canadian design, so needless to say, this is the place to go to find the unique, the extreme and the beautiful. Well worth the trek to the remote reaches of Dundas West just to get lost in the wealth of furniture, lighting, ceramics, glass, textile and jewelery.
