Trinidad and Tobago
Where to Stay
The Caribbean Islands of Trinidad and Tobago offer ideal accommodation spots, whether the visit is for vacation or business purposes. There are all sorts of locations, depending upon taste and requirements. You can nestle in a guesthouse on the hillside overlooking a tropical forest, get a studio apartment near the green of a golf club, or book a hotel room in the capital city of Port of Spain or Scarborough in Tobago, close to all amenities.Hotel accommodations in Trinidad are mostly located in the downtown, Port of Spain area, with a few in San Fernando. In both areas visitors can easily commute to and from shopping malls, banking institutions, cinemas, pubs, nightclubs, business and sporting facilities. Of course, other hotels can be found outside of these areas, however, while some of these areas may not offer as many goods and services within a short traveling distance, they do offer the tranquility and peace of being away from the city life.
Accommodations situated on or near the beach are primarily available in Tobago, known as the romance isle. Many of Tobago's hotels can be found just within walking distance of the Crown Point International Airport at the island's renowned Store Bay. Here you can find the Belleviste Apartments, Crown Point Beach Hotel, Sandy Point Beach Village, Arthur's By the Sea, Hotel Coconut Inn and Tropikist Beach Hotel. All have air-conditioned rooms available, are very close or on the beach itself and have kitchenettes available for those who like to have the opportunity to whisk up meals themselves. The choices go on to include cable televisions in rooms and, of course, a swimming pool on the grounds with the beach mere footsteps away.
