With fairly consistant calm waters, it provides excellent swimming, and the cliff overhangs provide good shade cover. It is said that Queen Elizabeth II overnighted here in Cabanas 9 and 10. The hotel consists of 24 one-bedroom apartments, 33 studios and 18 cabanas. Each unit has been designed for self catering. The recreational activities here include bird watching, lawn tennis and shuffleboard. At Crown Point, The Best of Thymes Restaurant offers an eclectic menu. Crown Point's conference room can accomodate up to 150 persons. All guestrooms offer great ocean views from either a balcony or patio. The facilities include a convenience store and two clothing and souvenir shops.
