Paseo de la Alameda
Valencia, Valencia 46010
Nearest Train: Alameda
The Feria de Julio was begun in 1971 as a flower, plant and local product fair. Over time, the entertainment aspects became more important than the commercial, with the pavilions slowly housing dances as opposed to products. The fair is traditionally held along Paseo de la Alameda, where on the last Sunday of July you can take part in the spectacular Battle of Flowers. Other events include the International Band Contest, bullfights for the Feria de San Jaime, firework displays and all sorts of concerts and performances in the Viveros Gardens.
