WebsiteSpook Factory is one of the most popular discos in or around Valencia, bringing in between 4500 and 5000 people every Friday night. The generally young crowd all come for one thing: the music. It's been open more than 11 years and has been dubbed the "Vanguard Temple" because it is constantly updating and incorporating new music into its repertoire; some even say it's the best disco in Spain for Techno music. Join the crowd and come on over (by car or taxi), but be prepared for the great and loud music (20,000 W). It's one of the few great remaining discos from the famous late 80s and early 90s phenomenom known as the "Ruta del bakalao" ('techno route', with a series of discos and bars from Madrid to Valencia), and is definitely worth checking out. Spook Factory only opens on Friday nights but doesn't close until midday on Saturday, making it one of the most important "after-hours" clubs in Valencia as well. Transport: Car or taxi are recommended.
