Website | EmailThis lodging's owners describe it as "the best damn little bed and breakfast on the West Coast." Those are big words for such a little place, so you know it has to prove that those words are not mere hyperbole. This guest house is tucked away in old-growth forest, but is only minutes from the city centre. The Burrard Inlet Seawall, Capilano Canyon Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Cleveland Dam and Grouse Mountain are just a few of the highlights nearby. Guests sleep on 17th- and 18th-century-replica French and English beds. The rooms are provided with terry towel bathrobes and slippers, and open out to a large sundeck. Guests can also unwind at the lounging area to read a book from the library or catch the latest on television. Continental breakfasts are served on the sundeck when weather permits.
