Website | EmailThis ideal location for a quiet walk is hidden away in a somewhat disused area of the Third District. Nobody has been buried here for a good few years - the gravestones, which date back to the Biedermeier period, are partly dilapidated and the writing on them is hardly visible. The main attraction here is the monument to Mozart: a stone tablet, grave decorations and an angel on top of a column of stone are constant reminders that this was the final resting place of the composer; he was buried here in a mass grave in 1791.
