The rooms of the Vergara Palace have been transformed into a fine arts school of sorts, offering workshops in painting, enameling on metal, engraving, sculpture and ceramics. Guests in the city may enroll in workshops on a temporary basis. A Saturday morning extra-curricular program is geared toward children and adolescents (six to 17 years of age). Adults are welcome to observe. Each January, an exhibition demonstrates some of the students' best work.
