A relative newcomer, this restaurant has augmented the already impressive culinary offering in Vina del Mar. It is the second venture of an establishment that has been in operation for more than a decade in the southern Chilean city of Puerto Varas. The place is small and comfortable, with furniture made from wood, and a second floor that offers an extra twenty tables to choose from. The clientele is generally made up of adults and family groups, especially at the weekends. The kitchen offers a fusion of Austrian cuisine mixed with popular dishes from the south of Chile. The Steirisher Bauernscmauss will certainly send you off for a pleasant siesta, consisting as it does of meat roll, German kassler sausage and sauerkraut, accompanied by breaded meat-balls.
