Rainbow Park
Day at the Lake
Whistler Valley off Alta Lake Road
Whistler, BC
Rainbow Park is located on the west side of Whistler Valley and is a pleasant 20 minute bike ride along the Valley Trail from the Village. Just off Alta Lake Road, Rainbow Park was originally the site of the historical Rainbow Lodge built by Whistler pioneer Myrtle Philip. Rainbow Park has a sandy beach and shallow waters, perfect for kids and families. There's lots of grassy open space with picnic tables, outdoor BBQs, shaded areas, and volleyball courts. There are also vending machines, a concession stand, and washrooms for your convenience. If you decide to drive to Rainbow Park, there is ample parking, but it may take you the same amount of time to drive as it will to bike!
