EmailNestled directly across from Sunlight Rock, this small museum pays nod to Gulangyu Island’s long love affair with the piano. Despite the island’s diminutive size, it ranks number one in China for piano ownership per person and is the hometown of famous Chinese pianist Xu Feiping. More than forty old pianos from different periods and different nations fill the museum. The entire complex maintains a musical theme with such names as Melody Square, Lingering Sound Gate and Harmonious Music Building.
