This locally situated village pub is on the outskirts of the city but still close enough to be able to visit all the tourist attractions that York has to offer. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and there is a separate family room for those who have children. The interior decoration is a little on the plain side, but the seating is comfortable and there is rarely a problem with crowding. A variety of good food is served daily, ranging from sandwiches to full Sunday roasts.
