Website | EmailAll techno freaks and house lovers, note this in your diary: Each year, on the second Saturday in August, Street Parade rolls into town. A mix between a giant rave, a demonstration for love, freedom and tolerance, as well as a fantastic carnival, Zurich's Street Parade is an absolute must for all party animals. Since the first Street Parade in 1992, the event is now second only to Berlin's "Love Parade" in size, and draws hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. On the day, music from around 30 elaborately decorated "Love Mobiles" fills the street and the festival even has its own radio station. The CD "Street Parade 1999" went platinum, and went down in history as Switzerland's best-sold house and techno compilation.
